Every P • TAL copper water dispenser is lab-certified 99.7% pure copper (no plating, no alloys).

Does water taste metallic?

After resting 6–8 hours, most users describe the taste as “crisp with a slight natural sweetness,” not metallic. A quick pre-rinse is recommended before first use.

Does copper tarnishing over time reduce the benefits of the metal?

Yes, copper naturally develops a dark patina over time, and that’s completely normal. It doesn’t affect copper’s natural antimicrobial properties at all. You can gently polish it with the cleanser we include if you prefer to keep the bright, shiny finish.

Can we use copper water dispenser for storing warm water?

Lukewarm water is perfectly fine. We recommend avoiding very hot or boiling water, as it may cause more copper to dissolve than needed. Stick to room temperature or mildly warm water for everyday use.
